Why Elizabeth Banks Tweets
“I accidentally got on Twitter because there was a fake Elizabeth Banks, twittering, and David Wain, who’s the director of Role Models and a good friend of mine, was staying at my house in L.A., twittering. I didn’t know anything about Twitter at the time, but he was following me, thinking it was me. And this person tweeted, ‘Hanging out by my pool! Just chilling on Saturday!’ And David Wain was actually hanging out by my pool, on Saturday, and I wasn’t there. I was in New York or something. And so he was like, ‘Huh, I don’t think you’re Elizabeth Banks.’ And this person broke down, and said, ‘No I’m not Elizabeth Banks. I started this because I’m a fan and now I have all these followers and I don’t know what to do.’ David called me and said, ‘Do you want me to broker the password away from this guy and get your identity back on Twitter?’ And he did! So, yeah: I got Twitter identity theft.” Now you know. [Esquire] [Photo: Getty Images]

Al Pacino and also the cast and crew talk Scarface
If there's anybody who does appreciate tugging the large guns it's Tony Montana, therefore it is appropriate that there have been some pretty large names in the Scarface Blu-ray launch in LA.Stars Al Pacino (Tony Montana), Steven Bauer (Manny Ribera), Robert Loggia (Frank Lopez), F. Murray Abraham (Omar Suarez) and producer Martin Bregman talked on stage in the Belasco Theatre.TF were built with a chair front and center (and also the biggest Jameson about the rocks we have have you been handed) because they offered up that which was visiting us: the field of Scarface and my way through it.Amazingly, the concept to remake Howard Hawks' 1932 film Scarface originated from Pacino themself."My first experience [from the story] was seeing the Howard Hawks film Scarface also it was in the Tiffany Theatre within La on Sunset Boulevard. I went and saw the film and known as Martin Bregman and stated I believe we're able to do that factor like a remake or something like that."And that he very sensibly and incredibly astutely first viewed it, got available, first got it and set the entire factor together. I wish to thank the late Sidney Lumet. It had been his idea to possess Tony Montana range from boat lift in Cuba," Pacino appreciated. After that Bregman needed to come up with the American Dream team, as they say, of John P Palma and Oliver Stone. "I must say it required lots of work however it did not. It required four telephone calls," Bregman stated. "It had been quite interesting for me personally because I figured Oliver Stone and John P Palma were so different. Anybody you never know the film knows they did things in a different way. Oliver is a lot more socio-political involved for the reason that, and John also offers concerns about society but he also loves to do large things - pictures which have size. And i believe which was his idea. Which merging of the pair of them I believe actually was the important thing because I was expecting these phones clash however they did the contrary. I believe that's what's there on that screen," Pacino remembered."Oliver was banned in the set," adds Abraham.Obviously Pacino would be first option to play Tony Montana."Martin Bregman discovered me off Broadway. I had been 26, 25. And that he discovered me and grew to become my manager. Which explains why I am here. I owe it to Marty, I truly do," Pacino stated.Requested if he often see the talent within Pacino, Bregman responded: "Extremely swift answer: yes. He moved me. The very first time I saw him on stage he just moved me. I acquired involved with what he was attempting to do and what he was doing. It had been just a little play made by Israel Burrows and that i never saw anything like this before. Another client of mine explained to visit see him, forced me to. She found the house eventually and stated I saw an remarkable actor you need to visit him." That client: Faye Dunaway.Still, the cast did not know these were focusing on something which would later be praised like a classic from the genre (Bregman calls it "an ideal film"). All they might do was include a great performance."We practiced the film. We were not just moving in there and doing the work,Inch revealed Loggia. "And when we've got to do i was flying, we'd wings. And that we shipped.""It is also the reinvention from it, the truth that it arrived on the scene and wasn't received that well," added Pacino. "And that we did not believe i was in something which would be lasting. It's amazing when something of that nature happens."It is extremely rare that the movie opens and it is usually instantly made like a classic, it isn't eviscerated in the manner it was and given disrespect. But as time continued it simply remained there coupled with this rebirth. It's similar to magic. There is a great expression, man's achieve should exceed his grasp or what is a paradise for? And i believe that is what we have seen within this movie."An amount happen if the movie opened up in a few days? Wouldn't it have a similar type of reaction? And That I kind of think it might. The debate regarding this [will be the same], since it comes with built-in debate."For Pacino a large a part of film's lasting charm - in the event that's the best word for any movie that at one stage held the record which are more F-tanks - is the fact that there's been no follow up to tarnish it within the fans eyes."There is no part two, Scarface 3. There's none of this with this particular picture, it is simply Scarface. And i believe there is something about this,Inch he stated."Can I say to you why? Because who may wish to be organized for this,Inch stated Steven Bauer, before joking, "Also, he died. Everyone died!""All of us is dead. Which was an error Marty! You skipped that certain," offered Abrahams."Everyone is definitely saying but Manny your toes were moving whenever we drawn away. Your toes were moving, you made it. And I am like, no I did not," Bauer added, closing the doorway to some follow up for good. Scarface is launched on Blu-ray on 5 September 2011.
A Clip of Shameless Self-Promotion in Movies
In March, a YouTube user published a clip featuring movies where figures make use of the actual film title within the dialogue. One factor we learned by watching this really is that some figures do that more shamelessly than the others (take 'Face/Off', for example). Well, prepare for a lot of same goes with a film Game titles in Movies clip Part Two. The result is exactly the same general structure the final one did, although we believe the options from The Beginning were just a little better. Take a look at both videos below and select on your own. [via Reddit] Image thanks to YouTube
